Job Description

Constellation Search Group is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Manager of Coding for a full-time direct hire position.  The Senior Manager of Coding supports the Revenue Cycle operations. The Senior Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating all coding activities and claim submission. The Senior Manager plays a key part in recommending and implementing process improvement strategies to further improve KPIs and financial targets.
 
 
  Responsibilities:
      
  •  Supervise and assess the performance of Billing Leads, ensuring their responsibilities are executed with professionalism and effectiveness.
    •   
  •  Provide strategic direction and structure to the coding function to optimize efficiency and departmental productivity.
    •   
  •  Oversee departmental operations by resolving challenges, streamlining processes, and introducing new systems to enhance accountability and efficiency.
    •   
  •  Lead the compliance audit process to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
    •   
  •  Perform revenue analysis by monitoring practice management activities against financial objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    •   
  •  Utilize various software tools to generate reports, analyze data, detect trends and variances, develop insights, implement solutions, and communicate findings to the VP of RCM.
    •   
  •  Design, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for the Billing Office to reinforce internal controls and quality assurance.
    •   
  •  Collaborate with the analytics team to define meaningful metrics for comprehensive revenue cycle management (RCM) evaluations.
    •   
  •  Partner with IT to refine and enhance robotic process automation (RPA) workflows.
    •   
  •  Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA standards, while maintaining adherence to industry guidelines.
    •  
  Qualifications / Skills:
      
  •  Minimum 10 years of billing/revenue cycle management experience
    •   
  •  3 years ideal in a supervisory or managerial position
    •   
  •  Musculoskeletal knowledge is required with a clear understanding of billing and collection regulatory guidelines and requirements
    •   
  •  CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 experience
    •   
  •  Any NextGen experience and knowledge of RPA capabilities are a nice to have.
    •
