Constellation Search Group is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Triple Hat Federal Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage complex federal construction roofing projects. This multifaceted role requires expertise in project management, contracting, and construction operations within the federal government sector. The individual in this position will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with federal regulations and standards, while also acting as the primary point of contact for both the client and construction teams.Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of federal construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate with federal agencies, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates on project status to senior leadership and clients.
- Construction Oversight:
- Supervise the construction process to ensure compliance with all relevant federal guidelines, standards, and safety protocols.
- Direct and manage on-site construction teams, ensuring they adhere to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, address issues, and ensure proper workmanship.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment used meet project requirements and federal compliance standards.
- Manage inspections and quality control procedures to ensure the project meets federal, state, and local codes.
- Contract Administration:
- Develop and negotiate federal contracts, subcontracts, and change orders to ensure fair and compliant agreements.
- Oversee contract performance, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage contract disputes and resolve issues effectively to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal procurement regulations, such as FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement).
- Maintain records of all contracts, amendments, and related documentation for auditing purposes.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary liaison between federal agencies, contractors, and all project stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with government representatives, ensuring open communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address client concerns, providing timely resolutions and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present reports, documentation, and presentations to senior management and federal clients.
