Job Description
Constellation Search Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Director for a full-time, direct hire, remote position. The Sales Director is responsible for leading and managing the sales department, developing strategic sales plans, helping implement sale-data tracking tools, and driving business growth by achieving revenue targets. This role requires exceptional leadership, sales expertise, and a deep understanding of market dynamics to foster high-performing sales teams and maintain strong client relationships.Responsibilities:
Qualifications / Skills:
- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement the sales strategy to meet company goals and revenue targets. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and exceed sales targets.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop sales personnel. Provide regular coaching and performance evaluations to optimize individual and team success.
- Sales Targets & Budgeting: Set and manage sales targets, budgets, and KPIs. Work to implement sales-data tracking tools to monitor performance against goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and drive growth.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and improve processes.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, providing insights on performance, market conditions, and sales forecasts.

- Proven experience as a Sales Director, Sales Manager, or similar leadership role in sales.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Remote: This can be a 100% remote position with limited travel requirements for team and client engagement.
Salary: Salary range commiserated with professional experience.
