Job Description

 Constellation Search Group is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Tax Analyst for a full-time direct hire position.  The Payroll Tax Analyst supports the Shared Services function and payroll team and brings extensive experience with payroll tax processes, compliance across multiple states, and a passion for delivering exceptional service and precision. The Payroll Tax Analyst plays a vital part in ensuring accurate payroll tax processing while contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.
 
 
  Responsibilities:
      
  •  Oversee payroll tax compliance across multiple states, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
    •   
  •  Manage and process high-volume payroll tax transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
    •   
  •  Prepare, review, and reconcile payroll tax filings and reports, including W-2s, 1099s, and other statutory filings.
    •   
  •  Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll tax inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
    •   
  •  Maintain and update payroll tax systems in platforms such as ADP, Paylocity, or UKG.
    •   
  •  Monitor changes in payroll tax laws and regulations, implementing necessary updates to maintain compliance.
    •   
  •  Conduct thorough audits of payroll tax processes to identify and mitigate risks.
    •   
  •  Provide exceptional support to employees by addressing payroll tax-related concerns and delivering timely solutions.
    •   
  •  Analyze payroll tax data to identify trends and develop strategies for process improvement.
    •  
  Qualifications / Skills:
      
  •   Certified Payroll Professional (CPP): Required certification demonstrating advanced knowledge of payroll practices and compliance.
    •   
  •   Experience: At least 6  years of experience in payroll tax processes, including multi-state compliance and high-volume transactions.
    •   
  •   Payroll Systems Expertise: Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP, Paylocity, and UKG is essential.
    •   
  •   Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex payroll tax challenges.
    •   
  •   Service Excellence: A passion for delivering exceptional service with precision and a commitment to excellence.
    •
