Job Description
Constellation Search Group is seeking a Senior Global Product Manager for a full-time direct hire position. The Senior Global Product Manager is responsible for leading a team of product managers to ensure the effective development and implementation of a roadmap, marketing, and sales strategies for a specific product group. The Senior Global Product Manager works closely with all functions to define, develop, implement, communicate, and maintain the value proposition of the assigned product category to meet and exceed customer expectations. The Sr. Global Product Manager works closely with research and development to define, build and launch new products that exceed the targets of the identified business case.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Product Managers
- Owns product lifecycle strategy for product offering.
- Identify and foster the development of needed technologies to enable the roadmap and to position the product line for market share gain.
- Ensure category financial performance meets or exceeds growth and profitability expectations of the organization.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of major market segments and competitive environment that drives action to Sales, Marketing and R&D.
- Work with global and regional product managers, stakeholders, and development teams to prioritize investments, product requirements, and portfolio requirements.
- Develop product pricing and prioritize positioning strategies to maximize market share and profit.
- Ensure consistency across product lines and shared problem-solving between teams working on interdependent projects.
- Ensure proper execution of commercialization strategies into multiple channels.
- Anticipate internal and external business challenges or opportunities; recommend process, product, or service improvements.
- Works with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Sourcing to identify, quantify and execute cost savings initiatives to maintain market competitiveness and improve profitability.
Experience: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, MBA Preferred
- 5 years of product management or similar experience in a manufacturing environment, including developing and driving product roadmaps.
- 2 years of experience in a leadership position.
- Strong sense of personal and professional accountability.
- Understanding of technical concepts across physical products and software.
- Proven business acumen.
- Experience presenting and engaging with executive level audiences.
Additional Details: - Up to 30% travel, international and domestic
- This individual can also reside in Salt Lake City, Utah.
