Director of Ambulatory Surgical Centers
Constellation Search Group is seeking a Director of Ambulatory Surgical Centers for a full-time direct hire leadership position. The Director will oversee and direct the reputation of the ASC with physicians, patients, third-party payors, and the community. Accountability extends to effective personnel management, financial management of ASC locations, and internal management involving staffing, clinical oversight, and inspection preparedness.Responsibilities: Ensure staffing and business development align with clinical practice standards; construct and implement all policies and procedures for ASC operations in collaboration with the COO, CFO, and Human Resources. Oversee and direct all financial matters in the ASC department, including budget development and performance metrics. Achieve the objectives of ASC sites through administrative policy establishment, activity coordination, and assurance that operations meet the organization's high standards of care. Comply with governmental or regulatory body requirements to meet quality standards and assist clinical teams in ensuring medical practices and procedures adhere to these standards. Partner with the organization's administrative and physician leadership to formulate, implement, and monitor financial and business operation plans supporting multiple service lines and physician practices. Support organizational strategic direction by setting and pursuing short and long-term strategic goals for physician relations, performance improvement, operational efficiencies, and financial prudence. Develop plans to meet patient population needs related to service distribution across facilities serving multiple clinical service lines. Direct services, operations, and ambulatory sites/specialties through subordinate personnel by providing leadership and strategic direction. Work with Human Resources to approve personnel actions, including hires, terminations, and disciplinary actions, and ensure timely completion of performance appraisals. Collaborate with ambulatory services managers for consistency in ambulatory operations hospital-wide and organize services to manage facility infrastructure and physician practice support. Address and resolve physician and patient issues in coordination with patient care areas and support departments. Monitor activities for compliance with laws and government regulations, and implement audit recommendations as directed.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business with medical-organization experience, or a clinical degree with medical-business experience. Similar education and experience combinations are welcome. Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility and experience in practices with multiple ASC facilities preferred. At least 2 years of facilities administration, physician practice administration, or related experience, with a minimum of three years' leadership/supervisory experience. Minimum of three years of experience in budgeting for payroll and site expenses/revenue in a medical practice. Effective working knowledge in healthcare financial management, surgery center accounting, third-party reimbursement, patient flow, and facilities management. Constellation Search Group is seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time direct hire position. This role is integral in supporting the financial operations within a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) environment. The selected candidate will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing internal controls across core accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess experience in healthcare industries and thrive in a mission-driven, fast-paced setting.Responsibilities: Support month-end and year-end close by preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Reconcile revenue and receivables related to Medicaid, MLTCs, private pay, and other funding streams. Ensure accurate payroll allocation and reconciliation, especially for field and office staff. Maintain and monitor internal controls related to accounts payable, payroll, and revenue recognition. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. Assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and preparation of financial reports for management and regulatory agencies. Process bi-weekly payroll for office staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations. Maintain and update detailed employee payroll records, including pay rates, tax withholdings, and employment status updates. Collaborate with billing, payroll, and HR teams to ensure proper coding and financial integration. Support audit preparation by compiling documentation and responding to inquiries. Document and enhance internal processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with LHCSA regulations. Assist with the preparation of cost reports and filings required by NYS DOH or other oversight bodies.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage) and Excel. Deep understanding of relevant manufacturing processes, especially in the areas of contract manufacturing. Experience conducting business in foreign countries and starting new, international supply chains. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex supplier contracts and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Ability to manage a multifunctional supply base focused on leveraging scale through efficient processes, quality management systems, and continuous improvements.
